A Letter From Liz and David Loutzenheiser
David and I have decided the AHS Store will be our single charity of choice.
To give all of you an update....$6,000 worth ( retail ) has now been purchased for the
Amphi School District's students. I only purchase clothing that has been reduced 90 %
plus I always have their coupons etc. So....approximate amount spent to date ?
UNDER $500 donated by AHS 1966.

Their AHS District counselors validate the need at their individual schools AND
accompany them to the store !

It's now my cause to continue to do all I can until I am no longer on Earth...and I hope
to be able to speak to other classes and encourage them to also participate
by their class year of graduations.

The volunteer staff has continued to thank us all who have helped. Many volunteers
had no idea that shopping this way could provide SO much.

There is NOT meant to be ANY pressure to help these kids. IF it appeals to you
please join Ilaann ( Susan at AHS ) Jones White and I in this informal effort. Every dollar
will buy TEN dollars of clothes. There is a terrrible need for boys jeans. I've decided
to contact some of the makers themselves to see if a discount could be agreed to for
jeans directly. I plan to begin going to yard sales and buy nice looking Boys and
young mens jeans too !

Class of ’66 Donation
On June 21, Dave and Liz Loutzenheiser, and Dave and Sherry Fulton, delivered our class donation to the Amphi Store of $1066 in cash and new clothing. Classmates have also offered on-line donations, since the need for the young ones continues to be great.

The Amphi Clothing Bank was founded over 25 years ago by teachers to lend dignity to families in need by providing quality used clothing in a clean and caring environment.
